Hours of enjoyment
Got this kit to add more enjoyment to the kids exsisting set. Also purchased the monkey bat kit to connect this to one of our two towers. Instuctions were spot on. Built by myself but would suggest a second person. Would recommend sand or something soft around base. 8 foot tall when done. Kids love it. Neighbors envious.

What type of wood (purchased seperately) do you recommend for this playset?

Any wood approved for outdoor use.   We use Southern Yellow Pine in all of the PlayStar Factory Built and Ready to Assemble Playsets.  Independent studies have proved that it is much stronger than Cedar or Fir.  In fact, Over 70% stronger than Chinese Cedar (Fir) as documented across a variety of metrics by testing laboratories.
