The Contender Gold Playset gives families the flexibility to build a complete backyard playset using locally sourced lumber while still enjoying the premium accessories, modular design, and active play features PlayStar is known for.

When purchased online from PlayStar, this package includes the base kit hardware, plans, and all accessories shown for the Gold configuration, including the Spiral Tube Slide, Climbing Steps, Decorative Kit, Air Rider, and additional activity components. You simply purchase the lumber separately using the provided lumber list.

Designed for active outdoor fun, the Contender Gold combines climbing, sliding, swinging, and imaginative play into one exciting backyard play experience. The Spiral Tube Slide delivers a fast twisting ride while the Climbing Steps provide easy access to the play deck for younger children.

Built around PlayStar’s modular playset system, the Contender Gold can also grow with your family over time through additional accessories and activity upgrades.

Purchasing from a retail store or lumber yard? The base PlayStar kit sold at retail includes the structural hardware, brackets, and plans needed to build the main playset structure. Slides, swings, climbers, and additional activities are selected separately to create the Bronze, Silver, or Gold configuration shown online.

Great Quality

The quality of the product we bought a year ago is great. It looks as good as it did a year ago with very little maintenance required. The value as compared to the competitors I shopped is great. Your product was priced right, not too cheap, yet still very affordable. I still can't get over how much I see your competitors asking for their products - yours are priced right! Regarding safety, the playset is very safe! I should know - I built it myself. :) The playset parts that you provided were made very well and I expect it to last a lifetime (or at least until my kids grow out of it).
